Hi there, my name is Lisa and I own Petite Pops. I starting making cake pops in April 2016 for my daughters 18th birthday party. I saw the little maker in Sainsbury’s and I thought it looked fun, so I suggested to her that we have a go at making some. The first cakes I made were awful, to be expected I guess, but practice certainly does make perfect. After a few more attempts and with a little help from You Tube, my cakes started to look rather good.
I made over 100 for her birthday and they were all eaten. After her party I uploaded a few pictures onto social media and I soon received calls from friends and relatives asking if I’d make some for them. What an honour, of course I was delighted to! After a few months like this and many suggestions from friends, I decided to give myself a name and Petite Pops was born.
My cakes are small sponge balls of yumminess, coated in chocolate and individually decorated. Personally, I like just vanilla flavour, but I can make them chocolate, lemon or other flavours if required. I thoroughly enjoy making them and especially, when I’m asked to make something a little unusual.
